JAMMU, Dec 27: President Sampuran Kashmir Sangathan (SKS), Rakesh Koul requested the Government, especially Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation, Altaf Bukhari for issuing orders for the corrections in ration cards of displaced community.
Koul also appealed the Minister for Food and Consumer Affairs to issue ration cards to pension holders and Government servants.
In a statement issued here, he said that it is very difficult for pension holders and Govt servants to purchase food items from the market.
Koul further said that the corrections in ration cards have not been made for last 25 years, adding that the ration cards are not given to Government employees and the pension holders of the displaced community from March 2016, leaving them in the lurch.
