SRINAGAR, Dec 28: Police today said a person was killed while a minor girl was injured in two separate road accidents in Baramulla and Anantnag districts of Valley.
A police spokesman said an unknown vehicle hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK016-7567 driven by Manzoor Ahmad along National Highway at Pattan near Hanjiwara Gupan Galli in north Kashmir’s Baramula district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist.
The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead, he said, adding that after completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The police spokesman said a Scooty bearing registration number JK03C-4321 hit a minor girl namely Sani Jan at Anantnag district. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment where from she was referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for further treatment.
