RAJOURI, Dec 28: The police caught a young woman from a local hotel last night while her associate managed to escape.
A senior police official said that acting on a tip off, a police party from Police Post City led by SI Nissar Ahmed raided Khan Hotel at Rajouri town last night and caught a 22-year-old woman from the hotel room. Her associate however, managed to give slip to the police raiding party.
He was identified as Mukhtar Ahmed, son of Rehmat Ullah, resident of Kakora in Rajouri. The woman was giving contradictory statements to police. Identified as Rehana Kouser (name changed), resident of Dalogra area of Rajouri, she was taken into custody and shifted to Police Station. The police was looking for the youth who slipped away before the police raid.
