RAJOURI, Dec 28: The police in a swift action today seized a vehicle and recovered kidnapped youth within half an hour of the incident.
Reports said that 19-year-old, Nahim Ahmed, son of Nissar Ahmed, a B.Tech student of Rajouri college was allegedly kidnapped by three youth in a Tempo No. JK8D/1332 from College road during the day today. Some people noticed the boy being forcibly packed in the vehicle and they raised alarm. They also informed the father of the boy, who works as SO in DC office and local police.
The father informed SSP Rajouri and Police Control Room about it. The police raised nakas and intercepted the vehicle on the outskirts of the Rajouri town within minutes of the incident. The kidnappers notice police naka and jumped away leaving behind the vehicle. The police rescued the boy and seized vehicle. The police managed to identify all the three youth. They are Muktar Ahmed and his two close associates. The police registered a case and was looking for the accused persons. The motive behind the incident is not yet known.
