ANANTNAG: Minister of State for Hajj & Auqaf, I&FC, PHE, Industries and Commerce, Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi, today said the present dispensation headed by Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti is committed to provide better healthcare facilities to the people.
This was stated by the Minister while chairing Rogi Kalayan Simiti meeting here today. He said the Government has launched mega projects under various flagship programmes to provide better healthcare, education, road connectivity and other amenities to the people of all regions of the State.
Later, the Minister visited PHC Verinag and inspected various sections of the healthcare facility. He also interacted with the patients and staff there to take stock of the facilities being provided at the PHC.
Mr. Andrabi also reviewed various developmental works at Verinag and stressed on resuming and timely completion of all the stalled works. He also visited new and old Sub-District buildings at Dooru and directed the officers and engineers to work in coordinated manner for effective implantation of developmental projects.
Deputy CMO Anantnag, Tehsildar Verinag, Medical officers, Xens of PHE, I&FC, and other senior officers of concerned departments accompanied the Minister.
