JAMMU, Oct 10: Gandhi Nagar police today arrested an absconder, who was evading arrested in a case registered against him in 1990, after 22 years. He has been identified as Pritam Singh, son of Chandu Singh, a resident of Udhampur.
Police said he was wanted in case FIR No. 286/1990 under Section 379 RPC.
Police produced the absconder before the court of Sub Judge, who sent him to judicial lock-up in District Jail of Ambphalla till October 31.
A police party headed by SHO Inspector Gurmeet Singh made arrest of the absconder.
