JAMMU, Oct 10: Income Tax Commissioner, J&K A K Thatai visited the construction site of the upcoming housing project for the senior officers of the IT Department at Resham Ghar Colony here today.
Accompanied by Rakesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner IT Headquarters, the Commissioner during inspection discussed the progress of this project with the senior officers of the NBCC Ltd including Hem Raj (SGM) and G C Meena (DGM). On the spot instructions were given to the NBCC officers for early start of the full construction work on this project so that housing needs of the IT officers could be met at the earliest.
The local residents also met the Commissioner and apprised him of their apprehensions viz-a-viz the development of this project. The residents were assured that their concern would be kept in mind while executing work. This will be first residential accommodation of the IT officers in the State.
