JAMMU, Jan. 3: J&K Teacher’s Welfare Association president, Jasmeet Singh Madaan has urged the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to come to the rescue of SSA Masters/Teachers, ReTs and RRETs who have not got their salary from the last 7 months for the reasons best known to the administration.
Daily new circulars and orders are being issued by the Education Department on the pretext of upgrading the education system, but in reality the work force is denied the salaries for months together. Many big claims are being made by the Education Department, but when it comes to disburse the salary to the learning elite, the whole system cripples and express helplessness,” he said and urged CM Mehbooba Mufti to sort out the things on the priority basis and listen to the “SOS” message from the Teacher’s/Master’s community working under SSA component who are on the verge of starvation now.
