DODA, Jan 4: Accusing the State Government and concerned authorities for being callous towards their genuine and long pending issues, All J&K NHM Employees’ Association has appealed the MLAs and MLCs to raise the regularization issue of NHM employees in the ongoing Assembly session.
In a statement issued here, district president of the association, Faizan Ali Tramboo said that NHM employees are working in J&K since 2006 and since then they are rendering their duties tirelessly in far flung areas to improve the health care system and yet Government has not acknowledged their services.
Tramboo further added that since the launch of NHM scheme in J&K, they approached Ministers, MLAs, MLCs and concerned higher authorities with the plea to frame out a draft policy for their regularization but so far only verbal assurances were made in their favour.
He urged upon all the MLAs and MLCs of the State to raise the regularization issue of NHM employees in the Assembly and Council so that they (NHM employees) may get justice.
