The Budget session of the Assembly started on a stormy note with unceasing pandemonium created by two main opposition parties-NC and the Congress.
The main issue that dominated the proceedings was the killings of 2010 and 2016 in Kashmir valley. The comparison as usual are odious, and it does not matter whether the number of persons killed was 120 or 90, after all, a death is a death which in no can be condoned.
Assembly is a place where public issues are brought in the notice of the Government for their early redressal. But, the political parties have turned it into a battleground ‘Akhada’ where they settle their political scores.
The two opposition parties have not conducted themselves responsibly during the proceedings. Rather, these double talk politicians have exposed themselves before the public, and their stand on West Pakistan Refugees have put them on the defensive.
