CS reviews darbar move arrangements

JAMMU, Oct 11: Chief Secretary, Madhav Lal, today launched the official website of the Estate Department www.jkestates.nic.in which  will provide an interface for the users to seek information regarding the functioning of the department and redressal of their grievances.
Later, the CS reviewed arrangements for darbar move to winter capital at a high level meeting.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary to Chief Minister,  B B Vyas, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Pardeep Gupta, Commissioner Secretary GAD  Sheikh Mustaq Ahmad, ADG Security  Ram Lobaya and other senior officers from various departments and police.
Chief Secretary enquired about the ongoing renovation and face lifting works at Civil Secretariat and residential accommodations of the employees. He directed the concerned departments to mobilise additional resources to ensure timely completion of the works. He asked  to ensure that employees donot face any inconvenience regarding power and water supply, sanitation and  adequate supply of LPG for which he asked the concerned to  streamline the process of verifications.
He stressed on installation of bio-metric systems and asked Director Estates to coordinate with the concerned agencies to ensure these systems are made fully functional.
Chief Secretary was informed that four new clerical halls have been added and renovation works are apace at the Civil Secretariat which will be completed on time.
The chair was also informed that the department has also made a Complaint Redressal Cell in the office of Deputy Director Estates Jammu with installation of toll free No 18001807013 for the move employees so that they can register their complaints/grievances  seeking early redressal of the same on all working days during office hours besides bringing efficiency and accountability in grievance redressal delivery system.
