Sir,
The border people in Jammu and Kashmir live under constant threat of firing. One does not know when will the firing from across the border resume, and when will it come to an end. This has made their life quite miserable. Add to it the apathetic attitude of the Government. The Government does not take into account their day to day problems. There is lack of basic amenities, infrastructure and roads which would connect them to cities. During firing farmers suffer huge loss, as they are not able to harvest their crops. No primary health care centre is available, if available, there is no doctor, if doctor is available there is no medicine. As life of border people is harsh the Government should take necessary steps to help these refugees live a happy and prosperous life. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a compensation package of Rs 2000 crore to refugees which is a welcome step. I hope he will definitely do more for us in coming future.
Yours etc…
