JAMMU, Oct 12: Gool Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading arrest for the last eight years.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, Police party from Gool Police station conducted a raid in Mahore area and arrested the absconder namely Abdul Rashid, son of Jamal Din Zargar of Sarh, tehsil Mahore.
He said the absconder was involved in FIR registered under Sections 457,380 RPC at Police Station Gool and the Court has declared him as proclaimed offender.
A special team constituted by Anil Magotra, SP, Ramban, made the arrest and produced him before the Court of Law.
