SRINAGAR: Fire broke out in a police station in the summer capital, Srinagar, official sources said here.
They said fire broke out in police station Karan Nagar in the city this evening. However, fire tenders rushed from Fire and Emergency (F&E) service and other areas of the city brought the fire under control.
The cause of fire was not immediately known, they said, adding no one was injured. The loss suffered by the fire was being ascertained, they said. (AGENCIES)
