LA session futile exercise: SP

JAMMU, Oct 12: Short-term Legislative Assembly (LA) session has yielded no result at all and proved a futile exercise.
This was stated by Sheikh Abdul Rehman, State President, Samajwadi Party (SP), while addressing party workers during a meeting here today.
He said that the both NC and Congress are responsible for denying powers to the public representatives in Panchayat since independence.
He said that the most important issues like land grabbing cases particularly in Samba and Kathua districts were not touched at all and the opposition parties too failed to highlight these issues.
Rehman warned the Coalition Government for their rampant corruption, adding, that the general public is bound to teach them a lesson in 2014 both at the Centre and the State levels.
