Sir,
It is sorry state of affairs that State Education Deptt is being run by in-charge officers including joint directors, principals SIE, principal DIET, CEO’s, principals (10+2), ZEO’s headmasters, lecturers (10+2). All these officers are performing satisfactory duties of regularised officers in their own pay and grade since long. Most of the officers have retired without their services having being regularised. Some of them have even passed away. Every retired officer is cursing himself/herself for leaving the department without being regularised. In Education Department ZEOs were regularised in 2005, principals (10+2) in 2007 and headmasters and lecturers were regularised in 2011. Since then Principals, ZEOs, Headmasters, lecturers etc are awaiting their regularisation.
There has been wide spread discontentment among the retired and serving in -charge officers. Repeated assurance has been given by the deptt, but nothing has been done yet for their regularisation. J&K Govt in general and Education Minister in particular are requested to look into this genuine demand at an earliest so that officers (serving as well as retired) get mental relief.
