JAMMU: Minister of State for Power Syed Farooq Andrabi today said the government has proposed establishment of 50MVA , 132/33 KV Grid Station Karnah under the State Transmission Plan with a cost of Rs 31.36 crore.
Replying to a question by Javaid Ahmad Mirchal, the Minister said that the scheme will be taken up for execution as and when the proposal gets the nod from the concerned authorities and the funds are allotted thereof.
The Minister further stated that the DPR for up-gradation of Mini Hydel Electricity Project (HEP), Karnah from 2MW to 12 MW has been prepared under PMDP.
Andrabi said the meeting for obtaining Techno-Economic clearance for the project was held in December and the tenders for execution shall be initiated after receiving formal approval from TEC.
