NEW DELHI, Feb 7: The scrip of rating agency Icra today zoomed 11 per cent after the company said its board will meet later this week to consider a proposal for buy-back of equity shares.
After making a positive opening, shares of the company soared 8.68 per cent to Rs 4,448 on BSE.
At NSE, shares of the company zoomed 11 per cent to Rs 4,540.
“…Board meeting of the company is scheduled to be held on February 9, 2017 … At the said meeting, the Board will also consider a proposal for buy-back of the equity shares of the company,” Icra said in a regulatory filing today.
The company, however, did not elaborate on the size of the buyback. It will also announce its quarterly result on the said date. (PTI)
