More recoveries made from arrested thieves

JAMMU, Feb 8: Gujjar Nagar police made more recoveries from the arrested thieves.
As per police sources, on February 3 a person namely Mudassir Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi Dar of Raj Bagh Srinagar, at present Gujjar Nagar lodged a written complaint with Police Post Gujjar Nagar alleging that on January 28 some unknown persons entered into the house of his brother-in-law Adil Farooq, son of Mohammad Farooq of Gujjar Nagar, who is presently in Srinagar with criminal intention and broke open the lock of the room and decamped with mobile phone worth Rs 16,300/- and Rs 1 lakh cash.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 10/17 under Section 454 and 380 RPC was registered at Police Station Peer Mitha and investigation started.
During the course of  investigation, two accused persons namely Ankush Gill, son of Tara Chand Gill and Tannu Khokhar, son of Vijay alias Billoo Khokhar, both residents of New Plot were arrested and recovered one mobile phone of Adil Farooq.
During further questioning, police recovered two mobile phones, one laptop, one I-phone and one pair of golden tops on the disclosure of the accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Gujjar Nagar Police Post SI Shariq Bhat made the arrest and recovered the stolen items under the supervision of SHO Gujjar Nagar Inspector Javed Malik, SDPO City Vivek Shekhar Sharma and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
