BBIA resents land grabbing activities near Industrial Complex

JAMMU, Feb 14: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has expressed serious concern over the illegal encroachment on State land near SIDCO Industrial complex here.
A  meeting of the BBIA was held today in Bari Brahmana Industries Association office to discuss the issue of  illegal encroachment of State land adjoining to Industrial Complex Bari Brahmana which was attended by Lalit Mahajan president, BBIA,  Rahul Bansal  senior vice president, Ajay Langer, general secretary,  Viraaj Malhotra  secretary, BBIA, prominent Industrialists  Jai Sharma,  Rajesh Jain,  Shalinder Gupta and  Suresh Mahajan besides   Amit Sharma, Managing Director, J&K SIDCO,  PK Razdan SE,  J&K SIDCO, Vikram Gupta, General Manager  J & K SIDCO,  Pankaj Gupta, XEn  JKSIDCO,  Kulbir Handa, SDPO Bari Brahmana,  Mahesh Sharma, SHO Bari Brahmana,  Shaillo Ram, Tehsildar Bari Brahmana and other officials.
During the course of discussions, Lalit Mahajan raised the concern about the illegal occupation of State land by some persons adjoining SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana which creates problems for the units located in the Complex as the illegal occupants   using the SIDCO Roads as Entry and Exit Points for the movement of their vehicles and horse carts and damaging the infrastructure of lanes, drains and protraction bund.
The issue was discussed in details in the meeting and the MD JKSIDCO informed the members that the matter was already taken up with the Revenue authorities for the evacuation of State land adjoining to SIDCO Complex and the Tehsildar  Shaillo Ram assured all sort of help to evacuate the State land from the encroachers.
Kulbir Handa SDPO Bari Brahmana also assured all sort of help to Revenue authorities in this regard.
Amit Sharma, issued directors to the SIDCO officials take preventive steps to stop the entry of the illegal occupants in the Complex and  provide full cooperation to the Revenue authorities to resolve the issue on priority basis.
