NEW DELHI : Congratulating the ISRO for creating a world record by launching 104 satellites in one go, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called upon the youth to take to science more and more as the country needed young scientists for its transformation.
He specially mentioned the contribution of women and youth members of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) who led this mission.
The Prime Minister, who was addressing the nation in the monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme , also spoke of the coming International Women’s Day on March 8 underlining that women were all capable and they had equal rights with men.
He laid emphasis on developing socially useful technologies which could make the day-to-day life of the common man easy.
