Srinagar, Mar 1: Army today said over 100 students benefited from winter coaching classes organized by it at Drugmulla during past two months.
A defence spokesman said, “In keeping up with its promise to work for the benefit and upliftment of the local population a unique initiative was undertaken by Army to organise winter tuition classes for children of Drugmulla.
“The classes were conducted at Government Middle School, Chailpatti village for two months. The aim of organising coaching classes was development of communication skills for future challenges. More than 100 students benefited immensely from the winter coaching classes.”
He said the local population was quite elated at this unique initiative. The parents of students have urged to run the similar coaching classes in future too, the defence spokesman added.
