JAMMU, Mar 7: An unknown woman of age about 40 years died today after being hit by a goods train at Km 98.5.
According to a GRP spokesman, a goods train (Dn) today hit an unknown woman at Km 89.5 due to which the woman fell down from Railway Bridge and died on the spot. He said that the dead body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
“The woman is bald, weatish in complexion, 5 feet 2 inches tall and wearing white colour designed Salwar-Kameez, woolen blue shawl and a grey jacket”, the spokesman said, adding, anybody having any clue about the identity/residential particulars of the deceased woman may contact GRP Jammu on telephone numbers 0191-2474946, Whatsapp No 7298775944 and Mobile numbers 9419160386, 9858583637 and PCR GRP Jammu Helpline No 1512.
