Bootlegger arrested

JAMMU, Mar 7: A bootlegger was arrested today from village Makhanpur Gujjran falling within the limits of police station Miran Sahib.
According to a police spokesman, on a specific information today Miran Sahib police today conducted a raid in village Makhanpur Gujjran and apprehended a bootlegger namely Chander Bushan son of Ram Lal, resident of Rattian, and recovered 45 pouches of J&K excise liquor from his possession, as the accused was selling the same to earn the illegitimate profit.
“In this connection, Miran sahib police has registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of law”, he said, adding the arrest was made by the police team headed by ASI Yougal Kishore, Incharge, BPP Kullian, under the close supervision of SHO, police station Miran Sahib and SDPO RS Pura.
