Private schools form body

KISHTWAR, Mar 7: Recognized private schools of Kishtwar have formed their body under the name and style of Private Schools Association, Kishtwar, with  Ramsevak Sharma ( Principal B VM High School Kishtwar) as chairman and  Malik Mohammad Azhar, ( chairman Asraria Valley High School Kishtwar) as its president.
Nayeem Ul Haq Waza, Principal Islamia Faridia Higher Secondary, Gh Mohiuddin Rahi, Principal Furqan Academy High School, Balkrishan Parihar, Principal BVM Hidyal and Jogindar Bhandari, Principal Green Model High School, were appointed as vice-presidents while the post of secretary was given to RC Sharma, Principal Adarsh Balniketan High school.
Ishtiyaq Ahmad, Principal National Academy was nominated as joint secretary and  Mohammad Aslam Agoo, Chairman Green Model High School.  G.M Tappal, Principal New Model Academy and  Rishi Kumar Sharma, Principal Divine Light
Academy as advisors. Sandeep Kumar Sharma, Principal Sir Iqbal Academy has been given the responsibility of cashier while  heads of all recognized private schools of district Kishtwar will be the members.
The newly formed body voiced its resentment against recent order of ZEO Kishtwar regarding closure of 11 recognized schools.  The Association said that as per  Education Act 2002, only Director Education is the competent authority to close a school through a proper procedure.
