Work with missionary zeal for larger good of people: Veeri to officers

JAMMU:  Minister for Revenue, Relief , Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, Abdul Rehman Veeri today asked the officers to work with missionary zeal for the benefit of the all sections of the society.

Minister said while interacting with a deputation of All J&K Revenue Officers Association (2009 batch) who had called on the Minister at his office here.

Mr Veeri impressed on the officers to adopt participatory model of development and make sure that all sections of the society receive due share in the development.

The Minister directed officers and field staff to adhere to timeline in issuance of certificates and documents like Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC), Reserve Category Certificate, Dependent Certificate, Income Certificate, Fard Intikhab, Extract of Girdawari, Extract of Massavi, Extract of Jamabandi, Attestation of Mutation, Marriage certificate and other related documents.

Mr Veeri also said that the department is contemplating to organize a one-day conference of Tehsildar, Naib-Tehsildar level officers where they can have interaction with experienced officers of the department at higher level.

“It would provide a platform to both sides to present their viewpoint across,” he told the deputation.

The Deputation led by its President Rajesh Baru presented a charter of demands to the Minister.  Mr Veeri assured the deputation that all the genuine demands would be looked into.
