JAMMU, Mar 8: NHPC Limited in collaboration with Medanta-the Medicity Gurgaon organized an awareness lecture and clinical check up of kidney related diseases on the eve of “World Kidney Day” in the premises of NHPC Regional Office at Narwal, today.
The Awareness Camp was inaugurated by S. Kalgaonkar, Executive Director, NHPC in the presence of Dr. Chetan Mahajan, DM (Nephrology) from Medanta-the Medicity, Gurgaon along with his team. A large number of employees and their dependents marked their presence in the camp. S.Kalgaonkar thanked Medical fraternity of Medanta-the Medicity for collaborating with NHPC for the stated noble cause.
About 65 employees of NHPC & their dependents benefitted from the clinical check up. Dr. Chetan Mahajan while delivering his awareness lecture on kidney diseases said that Medanta-the Medicity institution has been envisioned with the aim of bringing to India the highest standards of medical care along with clinical research, education and training and people suffering from serious ailments should definitely take benefit from the world class super speciality hospital. He complimented NHPC for giving a chance to serve people working in NHPC. The representatives of Medanta-the Medicity assured to hold such similar programmes in future also.
