JAMMU, Mar 8: In separate incidents, three persons allegedly made abortive attempts on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their respective residences in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a youth namely Harnandan (20) son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Nepal and at present residing in Trikuta Nagar area, consumed some poisonous substance at his present residence.
Similarly, two other persons namely Amarjeet Singh (45) son of Dayal Singh, resident of Sainik Colony, and Shammu Kumar (27) son of Madan Lal, resident of Raipur (Satwari), also tried to end their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their respective residences.
All the three persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
