Murder case worked out within 24 hours

JAMMU, Mar 8: Miran Sahib police today claimed to have solved a murder case within 24 hours.
According to a police spokesman, acting on a murder complaint that one Bhupinder Singh alias Pinder son of Pargat Singh, resident of Phinder, has murdered one Kamaljeet Singh son of Gurdayal Singh, resident of Phinder, on Tuesday evening, SSP Jammu constituted a special team comprising of SHO Miran Sahib, Bishnah and Satwari to apprehend the accused and workout the case.
He said due to timely action and stern effort made by the special team, the accused was arrested today and the murder case which was registered under FIR No 40/2017 U/S 302/34 RPC, 3/25 Arms Act at police station Miran Sahib, was solved within 24 hours.
The whole operation was conducted under the close supervision of SDPO RS Pura, Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu, RC Kotwal.
