BHADERWAH, Mar 8: The major portion of a two-storey residential building at Mohalla Tharra was gutted today in a mysterious fire that broke out this evening.
According to the reports, a mysterious fire today broke out at about 7 PM in the two-storey residential building of a man identified as Abdul Qayum, son of Gulam Mustafa, resident of Mohalla Tharra (Bhaderwah), at Mohalla Tharra.
Two fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames after about one and a half hour-long operation but till then the first floor, wherefrom the fire has probably started, completely gutted.
Meanwhile, a police team from police station Bhaderwah also rushed to the spot after getting information from the locals. According to the police, no one was injured in the fire while the quantity of loss of property is yet to be ascertained and the cause of fire is a matter of probe.
