SAMBA, Mar 16: As a part of continuous drive against the drug menace today, a police party of P/S Ramgarh headed by S.I Bansi Lal, SHO P/S Ramgarh under the supervision of Abhishek Sharma SDPO Vijaypur and on the directives of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra nabbed three persons and recovered two kg 600 grams of Poppy Straw, 100 grams Chharas and 60 grams of Ghanga from their possession.
The arrested persons included Lalit S/o Gopal Dass R/o Chattishgarh at present Shiv Nagar Vijaypur, Sahil Kumar S/o Nathu Ram and Atama Ram S/o Kirath Ram R/o Chattisgarh A/P Bahagatpur. In this connection a case FIR No. 11/2017 u/s 8/15 and 21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Ramgarh. The police has started further investigations in the matter.
