NEW DELHI :  India has taken up with Pakistan on the issue of two Indian nationals, including an 80-year-old Muslim cleric, who have gone missing in that country.
“We have taken up this matter with Government of Pakistan and requested them for an update on both the Indian nationals in Pakistan,” External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said in a series of tweets.
“Indian nationals Syed Asif li Nizami aged 80 years and his nephew Nazim Ali Nizami had gone to Pakistan on March 8, 2017.
Both are missing after they landed at Karachi airport,” Ms Swaraj said. “Syed Asif Ali Nizami is Head Priest (Sajjadanashin) of Hazrat Nizammuddin Aulia dargah,” she wrote in another message in the micro blogging site.  (AGENCIES)
