UDHAMPUR, Mar 18: Union Minister of State in PMO with independent Charge of North Eastern States , Dr Jitendra Singh today said that the verdict of people in recently held elections in five states especially in Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand showed that people fully endorsed the polices and programmes of Narendra Modi Government at Centre especially his crucial decision of demonetization taken just five months ahead of Assembly elections.
Addressing a function here, today in connection with holding of Digidhan Mela which was second of its kind in the State after the one held in Jammu on January 15, Dr Jitendra Singh said this is only possible by the credibility created by a leader like Narendra Modi who is closely linked to the masses.
Dr Jitendra Singh who was the chief guest on the occasion said it is first time in the country that a poor man feels proud of his honesty as the Prime Minister while taking oath of office on May 26, 2014 declared that his Government is dedicated to poorest of poor and down-trodden.
