JAMMU, Mar 21: City police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested two drug peddlers and recovered large quantity of intoxicant capsules from their possession.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from City police station laid a naka at Raghunath Mandir chowk and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK06-8827.
During checking, police recovered 1350 intoxicant capsules from the possession of rider and pillion rider.
The accused have been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed, son of Lal Din and Javid Ahmed, son of Din Mohammad, both residents of Kashtigarh, District Doda.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at City police station and investigation started.
