3 injured in road accidents

RAJOURI, Mar 21: Three persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Mendhar area of Poonch and Kalakote area of Rajouri today.
Police sources said that  driver of Tipper bearing registration No. JK12/6032 was seriously injured when his vehicle rolled down into a gorge near Uchhad in Mendhar area today. Identified as Amarjit Singh, son of  Thakur Singh, resident of Darati village, he was rushed to SDH Mendhar by the locals of the area. He was later referred to GMC Hospital Jammu  by the doctors.
Another report  from  Rajouri said that two persons were seriously injured after their scooter (JK-11/0558) collided with a truck (JK02AE/5489)  at  Mehari village in Kalakote this evening. Both the victims  Sham Sharma (37) of Sair village and Ravinder Kumar (35), resident of  Kharak village were rushed to  local hospital and later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu.
