JAMMU, Mar 21: Nagrad Adbi Sangam in collaboration with JK Academy of Art Culture and Language organized a seminar under on late Makhan Lal Kanwal at K L Sehgal Hall in which Dr R L Shant a well known scholar was the chief guest.
Those in the presidium were A K Naz, Aziz Hajni Secretary Cultural Academy and P N Trisal a well known writer. The first session was presided over by J N Sagar and A K Naz presented welcome address.
During the seminar papers on Late Kanwal were presented by Avtar Hugami, P N Shad and Rattan Talashi.
The second session was presided over by P N Shad. During the session those present in the presidium were Brij Hali and B N Abilash and the third session was a poetic symposium. The proceedings of both sessions were conducted by P K Raina who also proposed the vote of thanks. A large number of poets recited their poems on the occasion.
