JAMMU: Minister of State for Education, Technical Education, Culture, Tourism, Horticulture, Floriculture and Parks, Priya Sethi today said detaching from its roots wouldn’t help Kashmir to grow on socio-cultural arena.
Speaking during 2-day international workshop on ‘Kashmir Philosophy with Special reference to Abhinav Gupta,’ the Minister that Kashmir won’t survive if Kashmiriyat dies. She further called upon scholars and participants to remain true to themselves. “If one is true to oneself that is actual realization of true god,” she said.
During her speech, she praised the Vice-Chancellor, Central University Jammu for organizing an event of such a sort. She also assured all the possible help from the State Government to the educational institutes for organizing and conducting seminars and workshops on such topics and themes.
Sethi praised the scholars for their contribution in exploring and researching on Meta Physics, poetry Linguistics and some other spiritual aspects of the philosophy of Abhinav Gupta.
She expressed her gratitude to the works carried out by the scholars, saying that she would like to go though these papers for the better understating on the subject.
