JAMMU, Mar 25: Bishnah police arrested a woman along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Bishnah police station laid a naka at village Chak Hasal and intercepted a lady.
During checking, police recovered 53 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the lady and arrested her.
The accused lady has been identified as Preeto Devi, wife of Bachan Lal, a resident of Chak Hasal village.
A case under FIR Number 63/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered against the woman at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Prithpal Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
