RAMBAN, Mar 25: Police arrested a bootlegger along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Ramban police station apprehended a man along with 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, son of Abdul Majeed of District Anantnag.
A case under FIR Number 33/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Ramban police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Naveen Angral made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Imtiaz Ahmed, Additional SP Mushtaq Ahmed and SSP Ramban Mohan Lal.
