2 drug peddlers arrested with ganja

JAMMU, Mar 25: Channi Himmat police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered ganja from their possession.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Channi Himmat Police Station laid a naka near cremation ground Channi and intercepted two pedestrians, who were trying to hide themselves after being noticed by the police party.
During checking, police recovered 5 kilograms ganja from the possession of the pedestrians and arrested them.
The accused have been identified as Parmeshwar Kashyap and Ghanshyam Kashyap, both residents of Chhattisgarh, at present Jammu.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered against them at Police Station Channi Himmat and further investigation of the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Channi Himmat Inspector Sajjad made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
