Srinagar, Mar 27: Army today said that on the demand of local youth, a recruitment training camp was organized at Behibagh in South Kashmir.
A defence spokesman said the training camp was an initiative to encourage the youth and apprise them about the criteria required for entry into the security forces besides conducting various tests to give them a feel of the selection process as also to make them gauge their present levels of preparedness.
“Over 100 aspirants appeared for the tests which were conducted in batches to streamline the process. According to the aspirants, it was a good opportunity to interact and clarify their queries about the Army way of life as well. A similar training camp has been planned just before the actual recruitment also,” the spokesman added.
