SRINAGAR, Mar 29: A deputation of members of Sikh community from different parts of Kashmir valley called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today.
The deputation brought into the notice of the Chief Minister several day to day problems of the community and sought their resolution.
The Chief Minister told the deputation that the Government is already seized of their problems and assured them that the issues raised would be appropriately addressed.
A deputation of representatives of tour and travel industry also called on Chief Minister and apprised her of their issues and demands.
The deputation thanked the Chief Minister for her interest in developing tourism in the State and promoting Jammu & Kashmir as a complete tourist package in the country and abroad.
Mehbooba Mufti assured the deputation to address the issues raised by it. She also asked the members of the deputation to work dedicatedly for ensuring a good tourist season this year.
