REASI, Apr 1: With the arrest of a couple and their son, District Police Reasi has solved the blind murder case of a youth, whose was found dead in forest area of village Sehaptian, under the jurisdiction of Katra Police Station, on March 28.
The deceased, namely Talib Hussain, age about 24/25 years, son of Sakhi Mohd of Chamba- Chandwan, tehsil Katra, was lover of daughter of the accused couple, who killed him at their Dhok near Sehaptian.
The arrested accuseds have been identified as Nek Mohd alias Niku of Barkari, Katra, his wife Gulzar Bibi and son Rehmat Ali.
On March 28, dead body of Talib Hussain was recovered from forest area of village Sehaptian following which a case FIR No 46/2017 U/S 302 RPC was registered at P/S Katra in this regard.
Working on some leads, the Police traced the killers and during interrogation, the accused admitted of committing the crime.
According to Police, Talib Hussain was having a love affair with daughter of Nek Mohd, who was bitterly opposed to the relation. Nek Mohd hatched the plan to kill Talib Hussain and called the latter at his Dhok near Sehaptian on some pretext where he along with his wife and son murdered him.
The case was solved by Inspr Arvind Samyal, SHO P/S Katra who was the I/O of the case, under the close supervision of SSP Reasi Tahir Bhat and ASP Katra, Sameer Kotwal.
