Retirees accorded warm farewell

JAMMU, Apr 1: Governor N N Vohra and staff of the Raj Bhavan, accorded a warm send off to Ajit Lal Dogra, Senior Superintendent of Police (Security) in the Governor’s Secretariat, who attained superannuation on March 31, 2017.
At the farewell function, the Governor lauded Dogra’s dedication to his duties and observed that he rendered nearly 17 years of devoted service to oversee security of the Raj Bhavan. Governor wished Dogra good health and happiness in his post retirement career and success in all his future activities.
Raj Bhavan staff also bid farewell to Ashok Kumar, Butler, who has put nearly 42 years of dedicated service, and wished him and his family good health and prosperity in the future.
A warm send off function was held today at District Police Lines Doda to bid farewell to Ratan Nath, Sub Inspector, who attained the age of superannuation after serving the department for forty years.
J&K Bank gave a warm send off to Abdul Rauf Bhat on Friday, who retired as the Bank’s Executive President.
Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmed along with Executive Presidents, Presidents, Vice-presidents and other senior officers of the Bank attended the farewell.
Joining the Bank in 1982 as Probationary Officer, Rauf held various positions in the bank and had a wide range of experience in banking like HR, S&C, Communications, Risk Management & Technology. He served the Bank for last thirty-five years.
The chairman while commending the contribution of Rauf Bhat towards the bank wished him all peace, progress and prosperity with good health post his retirement.”
