JAMMU: The University of Jammu has been ranked first among the six universities in the state in the annual national rankings released by the HRD Ministry.
The university has secured 63rd rank among Indian universities under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) which was released yesterday, Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance (DIQA), Jammu University, Director Meenakshi Kilam said today.
Last year, the university secured 64th rank, she added.
She said securing the 63rd rank this year is a step towards sustenance and enhancement of quality and attributed the success of the university in rankings to the leadership of the Vice Chancellor R D Sharma. (AGENCIES)
