Three arrested with illicit liquor pouches

JAMMU, Apr 4: Bari Brahmana police arrested three persons and recovered 129 illicit liquor pouches from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah police station apprehended a man along with 43 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Dilharan, son of Chattu Yadav, a resident of Billaspur, at present Bari Brahmana.
In this regard, a case under FIR Number 69/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Bari Brahmana police station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a police team from Bari Brahmana police station along with the sleuths of District Special Branch (DSB) nabbed two persons along with 86 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused have been identified as Manoj Singh, son of Tara Singh and Ajay Kumar, son of Parkash Chand, both residents of Rahya.
A case under FIR Number 70/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered against them at police station Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Mohammad Usman and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
