DODA, Apr 6: Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhalla police post conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Sajjad Ahmed, son of Khair Din, a resident of Kaila Tehsil Bhalla District Doda.
He was involved in a case registered with FIR Number 9/15 under Section 341, 336, 325, 32, 34 RPC with police station Bhaderwah. The Court of Sub Judge Bhaderwah had also issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against the absconder in October 2016.
The absconder will be produced before the Court of Special Mobile Magistrate Bhaderwah tomorrow.
Police team led by Incharge Bhalla police post SI Ajay Kumar Engotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Jitender Sambyal, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
