Burglars decamp with valuables from contesting candidate’s rented house

JAMMU, Apr 6: Burglars decamped with valuable items from the house of the independent candidate from Anantnag Parliam-entary Constituency Rakesh Kaul presently putting up at Rajinder Nagar Bantalab Jammu when there was no body in the house.
Kaul said he had lodged a FIR with Police Post Chinore and also informed the Chief Electoral Officer J&K in this regard.
In the FIR Kaul said that he had gone to Delhi for canvassing for three days while his wife was in office and his daughter in School when the burglars trooped in his rented house and ransacked the house hold goods and decamped with valuables.
Kaul termed it a foul play demanded investigation by police and security cover to him.
Meanwhile Sampooran Kashmir Sangathan (SKS) chairman Anoop Kaul and Bharat Kachroo its secretary whose organization is fully backing the candidature of Kaul have demanded that he be provided a security cover by the State Government and the duo have made an appeal to voters of the Anantnag especially of the minority Pandit community to come out in large numbers on April 12 and cast their vote in favour of Kaul to strengthen the nationalist forces.
