BJP to put Delhi back on development track: Dr Jitendra

NEW DELHI, Apr 7: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh said here that BJP will put Delhi back on the development track and therefore, it is not only the party’s stake but in the common interest of every right – thinking citizen to ensure a thumping victory for BJP in the Municipal Corporation Delhi election, so that the capital – city may be liberated from the nightmare of injustice and treachery inflicted by the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress.
Continuing the election campaign in different parts of Delhi, Dr Jitendra Singh held a series of meetings with party workers, polling booth workers and also addressed public at different place. He also inaugurated the BJP election office in Ghadoli ward No. 6 of East Delhi where he was accompanied by the contesting party candidate, the Delhi State BJP General Secretary, District BJP President and other office bearers.
Dr Jitendra Singh said, the people of Delhi have made up their mind to vote for BJP and now the only issue is to ensure the highest possible turnout of voters at the polling booth. He particularly called upon the women and youth to ensure a high voter turnout. Referring to some of the opposition leaders’ plea to postpone the MCD election because of alleged inaccuracies in EVM machines, Dr Jitendra Singh said, those who say so have actually conceded the defeat even before the date of polling. He said, people of Delhi are now demanding account of the huge state funds squandered on personal travel and personal litigations of some of the ruling party leaders, which has also been substantiated by the Shunglu report.
Defending the BJP National President Amit Shah’s decision not to repeat the sitting Corporators for the upcoming election , Dr Jitendra Singh said, BJP is fighting the election with absolute unity and the people of Delhi are looking forward to new faces in the Corporation for the transformation of Delhi as a part of “New India”.
