DyCM for synergetic approach to fast-pace development schemes

JAMMU, Apr 7: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today called for a holistic and synergetic approach to fast pace various developmental initiatives being undertaken in the housing and urban development sectors so that J&K comes up as one of the model states in the country replete with all the facilities of modern living.
The Deputy Chief Minister was speaking at a review meeting convened here today to discuss issues related to Housing and Urban Development Department and also the pace of work on various flagship schemes and initiatives.
Chief Secretary, B  R Sharma, Commissioner/ Secretary, Finance, Navin Kumar Choudhary, Comm-issioner/ Secretary, Housing and Urban Development, Hridesh Kumar, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Man-mohan Singh and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
Dr Singh directed the officers to ensure that the flagship programs especially undertaken in the central sectors like AMMRUT, Swach Bharat Mission and other related ones are fast faced by ensuring regular monitoring so that feedback is obtained about status of implementation and also impact on the ground.
He said the Prime Minister is particular about the timely completion of the initiatives which have been taken up in the State and the country so that the people get benefitted from these.
The Deputy Chief Minister also asked for adopting a synergetic approach towards execution of the developmental schemes so that lacunae if any can be removed and completion within the stipulated time lines is ensured. He also called for speedy completion of DPRs of the initiatives in the pipeline so that the funding and other related parts can be completed.
